Digital marketing agency Tug has been appointed by Dish Cult, a global restaurant booking platform to optimize search across key markets including Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Ireland.
Dish Cult is a content-led booking platform that includes stories, guides, and news on where diners should go.
Tug was appointed following a pitch and will manage the SEO for Dish Cult, providing technical optimization and guidance along with best practice guidelines for implementation across the globe, including Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Ireland.
The agency will manage the business from its Sydney office, leading on-page optimization, UX enhancements, and the global content strategy to drive bookings and increase Dish Cult’s share of voice globally.
“As we build our momentum across key countries across the world, it is imperative to work with a partner that will complement our growth trajectory. Tug’s expertise in search will play an important part in growing our share of search and digital physical availability; an important step in becoming the go-to-dining companion for remarkable restaurant recommendations,” said Mitchell Nunis, head of brand and growth, ANZ at Dish Cult.
“The team from Tug Sydney clearly demonstrated their strategic capabilities and experience of working on businesses that are active across multiple territories. We look forward to working with them closely in the coming months.”
The Dish Cult win is the latest global work secured by Tug Sydney and follows its appointment by leading legal software provider, LEAP, to manage its $8 million global performance media business from Australia to include the United States, Canada and UK.
“Dish Cult is an exciting global player in the fast-growing digital hospitality space and we are delighted they have selected Tug to help power their search optimisation and user experience across Australasia and wider,” said Charlie Bacon, client service director at Tug Sydney.
